Merryhill Christian High School is a comprehensive 3- year old private mixed day and boarding secondary school. The school opened on March 1st 2021, and graduated its first S.4 and S.6 candidates in 2022.
The results of 2022 were strikingly good, and this has contributed to its fast growth. It thus joined the bracket of giant secondary schools in the academic arena at district and national level.
Our History
This school was started by visionary educationists by the names of Dr. Samuel Mukasa, and Mrs. Nancy Mukasa, to be a leading secondary school in the country.
Merryhill Christian High School is located at Nakasajja – Kalagala, along Gayaza – Kalagi road, 5 kilometres from Gayaza in Mukono district. The school is licensed and registered with the Ministry of Education and sports with both “O” and “A” level center numbers.

The school offers a rich diverse curriculum that caters for the soul, mind, and body of the learner. Away from the ministry new lower secondary curriculum the school offers three additional practical subjects at no extra tuition.
Co-curricular activities.
These are facilitated by a large field for all games. The school has a rich non-academic program to nurture students’ natural abilities, including girl’s football, boys’ football, volleyball, chess, Athletics, Music, dance and drama.
The school has strongly asserted itself in all these programs and it has written long-term strong statements, in all the competitions at all levels.
The compound is spacious, neatly and beautifully designed to motivate and enable learning abilities of the students.
